Salary: $52, 500 annually

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Sanitation Manager to oversee sanitation operations within a high-volume kitchen department at a large food distribution center. This role is responsible for ensuring all sanitation practices meet strict food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily sanitation operations within the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and company standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation schedules and procedures
- Supervise and train sanitation staff, ensuring proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain sanitation logs, documentation, and reporting for compliance purposes
- Collaborate with operations and quality assurance teams to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Address and resolve sanitation-related issues promptly and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sanitation, food production, or warehouse environments (food industry preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Work Environment
- Large-scale food distribution center (DC) kitchen environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold storage areas
- Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting
