Job Title: Inspector Packers
Location: Carrollton, TX
Pay Rate & Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM | $16.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: 2: 00 PM 10: 30 PM | $16.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: 10: 00 PM 6: 30 AM | $18.00/hour
Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Summary:
The Inspector Packer is responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and packaging products according to company specifications. This role is essential in maintaining product quality, accuracy, and production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products for defects, damages, or inconsistencies according to quality standards
- Pack finished products into boxes, cartons, or other packaging materials
- Ensure products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment
- Maintain production pace while following accuracy and quality expectations
- Report quality concerns, damaged materials, or equipment issues to supervisors
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and GMP guidelines
- Assist with additional production or packaging duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 25 40 lbs as needed
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and production facility environment
- Exposure to machinery, production equipment, and moderate noise levels
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions throughout the shift
Additional Requirements:
- Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and additional hours based on production needs
- Must comply with all safety and attendance policies
